In Rabat, Algeria put on a high-level first-half performance, dominating the match despite Vladimir Petkovic making nine changes to his starting eleven. With goals from Zinedine Belaïd, Farès Chaïbi, and Ibrahim Maza, the Fennecs had already sealed the deal in the opening act.
