In September, Morocco's Atlas Lions will begin their CAN 2027 qualifying campaign.

In recent hours, CAF has revealed the schedule for Morocco's national team for the first two rounds of the CAN 2027 qualifiers. Kicking off their campaign, the Atlas Lions will host Gabon on September 25, 2026, at 19:00 GMT at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium. South African referee Abongile Tom has been appointed to officiate this match.

Four days later, on September 29, Morocco will play their second match away from home. The Atlas Lions will face Lesotho at 13:00 GMT at Toyota Stadium in Bloemfontein, South Africa. Cameroonian referee Abdou Abdel Mefire will be in charge of this encounter.

With these two fixtures, Morocco's objective will be to collect as many points as possible from the opening rounds to secure a strong position in the race for CAN 2027 qualification.
