Champions League: Inter Unveil Their Squad List
Inter Milan are the first club to make their squad list public for the league phase of the 2026-2027 UEFA Champions League. Ivorian striker Ange-Yoan Bonny is among the players selected for the club’s new European campaign.
Inter Milan were the first club to unveil their squad list for the upcoming Champions League league phase. The Italian club has officially announced the players selected for its 2026-2027 European campaign, as all 36 participating teams prepare to submit their lists to UEFA.
Among the names announced is Ange-Yoan Bonny. The Ivorian striker, who joined Inter from Parma in the summer of 2025, will therefore continue his European adventure with the Nerazzurri.
Bonny set for a second Champions League campaign
For Ange-Yoan Bonny, this inclusion does not mark his first experience in the competition. The 22-year-old striker already played in the Champions League with Inter last season. He featured in 10 Champions League matches during the 2025-2026 campaign, without scoring a goal.
Bonny is therefore set to embark on his second consecutive Champions League campaign. It will be another opportunity for the Ivorian international to play a greater role on the European stage, following a first experience in which he was mainly used as an attacking option off the bench.
His inclusion also carries particular significance for the player, who now represents Côte d’Ivoire after previously playing for France at youth level. His change of association was approved by FIFA in May 2026.
A squad that underlines Inter’s ambitions
Inter, the reigning Italian champions, head into the new campaign with a squad that has been significantly reshaped compared with last season. The club was handed a challenging schedule in the league-phase draw, with Liverpool, Real Madrid, Club Brugge, Borussia Dortmund, Shakhtar Donetsk, Feyenoord, Stuttgart and Slovan Bratislava among their opponents.
In this setup, Bonny will face competition from Lautaro Martínez, Marcus Thuram, Luis Henrique and Pio Esposito for places in attack.
