After coming from behind to beat AS Roma on matchday two, Real Madrid host RB Leipzig on Wednesday evening on matchday three of the Champions League league phase.

Real Madrid are determined to confirm their form on Wednesday evening in the Champions League. José Mourinho's men are full of confidence after their impressive comeback in Rome on the previous matchday. Although they were in difficulty for long periods and found themselves 3-1 down despite Kylian Mbappé's (25th-minute) opener, the Madrid side completed their comeback by scoring three goals in the space of seven minutes at the end of the match, through Carlos Espi (83rd), Endrick (85th) and Antonio Rüdiger (90th).

José Mourinho made no secret of his satisfaction after the turnaround: “We turned the situation around with an organised, emotional rebellion.”
