CHAN 2025 (Q): Madjid Bougherra unveils Algeria's squad

In preparation for the second round of the African Nations Championship, CHAN 2025, Algeria's A' national team will embark on a week-long training camp in Annaba, from March 17 to 24.

For this occasion, coach Madjid Bougherra has called up a squad of 28 players from the local league this Sunday.

As expected, reigning champions MC Alger dominate the selection with no fewer than eight players called up.

Among the selected names is the standout revelation from Paradou, Adil Boulbina (21 years old), the league's top scorer with 15 goals, whose inclusion was never in doubt.

This gathering will allow the technical staff to assess the strengths in presence before the double confrontation against Gambia in May.

Below is the list of called-up players:

• Goalkeepers: Benbot (USM Alger), Ramdane (MC Alger), Bouhalfaya (CS Constantine), Bousseder (ES Sétif).
• Defenders: Hamidi (JS Kabylie), Helaimia (MC Alger), Keddad (CR Belouizdad), Ghezala (MC Alger), Azzi (USM Alger), Boudrama (CS Constantine), Chaabi (ES Sétif), Khacef (CR Belouizdad), Khelif (MC Alger).
• Midfielders: Boukerchaoui (CR Belouizdad), Bouras (MC Alger), Benguit (CR Belouizdad), Benkhemasa (MC Alger), Boudjemaa (JS Kabylie), Dib (CS Constantine).

This camp will be a crucial step to fine-tune preparations ahead of the decisive May fixtures.
