everal players have made their mark in previous editions of the African Nations Championship (CHAN).

The standout performance belongs to Moroccan striker Ayoub El Kaabi, who netted 9 goals in 6 matches during the 2018 edition.

His compatriot Soufiane also had an outstanding run in the following edition (2020), held in Cameroon, scoring 5 goals.

Meanwhile, Zambia’s Given Singuluma and Algeria’s Aymen Mahious each struck 5 goals in the 2009 and 2022 tournaments, respectively.
