Chelsea now appears open to letting Pedro Neto leave. According to Sacha Tavolieri, Al-Hilal has made significant progress in negotiations with the Portuguese international and has reportedly reached a preliminary agreement with him on personal terms.

Al-Hilal now needs to convince Chelsea

The Saudi club has thus taken a major step forward in this deal. The next challenge is to find common ground with Chelsea, who are said to be demanding around €60 million to release their winger. This demand would allow the Blues to recoup much of the investment made in 2024, when Neto was signed from Wolverhampton for approximately €60 million.

Since joining Chelsea, the 26-year-old has played 103 matches, scoring 19 goals and providing 19 assists. Pedro Neto has notably contributed to the club's successes in the Europa Conference League and during the FIFA Club World Cup.

A departure already considered by Chelsea

Despite often impressive performances, Neto has not managed to show enough consistency to become an undisputed starter at Stamford Bridge. Nonetheless, his profile remains highly attractive.

Capable of playing in several attacking positions, the Portuguese forward has significant Premier League experience and could add attacking firepower to the Al-Hilal squad.
