Chelsea: Mamadou Sarr loaned to a Premier League club?
Mamadou Sarr does not seem to be part of Xavi Alonso's plans, the new Chelsea manager, who already has a well-stocked squad for the upcoming season.
According to The Athletic, the London club is considering loaning out the Senegal international to another English side to give him more playing time and help him further adapt to the Premier League.

The 20-year-old defender did not feature in the Blues' opening match of the 2026-2027 season against Sydney Wanderers (6-4), as he was among the players given a break after competing in the 2026 World Cup.
After a loan spell at Strasbourg, the Martigues-born player returned to London last February. He played 7 matches in the Blues shirt without really convincing.
Mamadou Sarr also has 46 appearances for Strasbourg and 23 for Olympique Lyonnais, the club where he first made his mark.
