Several clubs around the world and in the English Premier League are interested in signing Senegalese player Nicholas Jackson, and reports indicate that Aston Villa and Tottenham are among the most prominent clubs interested in the player.

Chelsea have set a €60 million price tag on the player, who had a trial with Bayern Munich last season, making 34 appearances and scoring 11 goals. However, Bayern ultimately decided against signing him and opted to stick with Harry Kane as their main striker.

Xabi Alonso does not rely on Nicolas Jackson

Chelsea striker Jackson's future remains uncertain as the transfer window edges closer to its close. After featuring in four matches for Senegal at this summer's World Cup, the forward has now returned to Stamford Bridge for pre-season, where manager Xabi Alonso has been given the final say over the 25-year-old's fate at the club.

According to RMC Sport, both Chelsea and Alonso are open to parting ways with Jackson before the window shuts, but the club are holding out for a fee of £60 million for the striker.

Atletico Madrid are among the clubs interested in signing the player, given the possible imminent departure of Norwegian striker Sørloth. Therefore, they want to strengthen this position with a name that can be among the good names in the squad, and it seems that Jackson has entered this list.
