Chidera Ejuke is on the verge of renewing his contract with Sevilla

The Nigerian player enjoys a good reputation at Sevilla, and it appears he will secure a contract extension that guarantees his stay at the Spanish club for more than two years.

Although the Nigerian forward’s statistics are not particularly outstanding, his passing accuracy and high level of physical effort caught the management's attention, leading them to reject all offers submitted for him.

Discussions to extend the contract until 2030

According to sources close to the situation who spoke to Africa Foot, the player’s current contract runs until the summer of 2027; consequently, the Andalusian club’s management has offered him a two-year extension to remain with the team. Sources in the player's inner circle confirm that discussions regarding all personal terms are currently underway between his representatives and Sevilla.

While the two sides have all but settled on how long any contract extension would run, the pay rise for the Zara-born player has yet to be rubber-stamped.

Even so, sources close to the player suggest that Chidera Ejuke will ultimately pocket a new salary of €2.5 million. Having arrived at Sevilla in June 2024, the Nigerian carries a market value of €4 million.
