The Burkinabé international from Wydad, Stéphane Aziz Ki, wasn't given much playing time during the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.

That’s far too little to showcase the impressive technical skills that have made him one of the top players on the African continent.

The Adjamé native from Côte d'Ivoire could be set to start the match against Emirati side Al Ain, which counts for the final group stage fixture of the Club World Cup.

Signed for a hefty fee in the last summer transfer window, the former ASEC Mimosas man will need to impress if he hopes to earn his place ahead of the 2025-2026 season kickoff.

At 29 years old, Stéphane Aziz Ki is looking to make his mark with Wydad, which could help him stay in the plans for the “Etalons.”
