Renaissance de Berkane (Morocco) will face Simba (Tanzania) on Saturday, May 17, in the first leg of the Confederation Cup final.

The Moroccan champions are aiming for a third continental crown after their triumphs in the 2019-2020 and 2021-2022 editions.

The "Kings of the East" have shone throughout this 2024-2025 edition of the African Confederation Cup.

In the second preliminary round, Berkane swept aside Dadjé FC (Benin) with a 7-0 aggregate score.

They then dominated their group, facing Stellenbosch (South Africa), Clube Desportivo da Lunda Sul (Angola), and Stade Malien (Mali), collecting an impressive 16 points out of a possible 18.

In the quarter-finals, Renaissance de Berkane dispatched ASEC Mimosas (Ivory Coast) 2-0 over two legs, before booking their place in the final at the expense of CS Constantine (Algeria) with a 4-1 aggregate score.
