Dion Lopy is on the verge of leaving Spain. The Senegalese defensive midfielder from Almería is set to sign with Al-Ittihad in a deal valued at nearly €20 million.

An agreement reached between the two clubs

Negotiations between Almería and Al-Ittihad are now at a very advanced stage. Both clubs have agreed on the terms of the transfer, and a deal has also been struck with the player. According to several Spanish sources, the 24-year-old midfielder has already been asked to undergo his medical, a clear sign that the transfer is close to completion.

The transfer fee is expected to reach €19 million, split between €13 million as a guaranteed amount and €6 million in performance-related bonuses. Under contract until 2030, the Senegal international was considered one of the squad's most valuable assets thanks to his consistency and influence in midfield. If all bonuses are achieved, this deal will become one of the largest sales in the history of the Andalusian club.
