Rafiki Saïd becomes the most expensive Comorian footballer of all time, with a transfer fee estimated at around 10 million euros. He has put pen to paper on a three-year contract with an option for a further year.

After joining Standard last summer following his spell at ESTAC Troyes, Rafiki Saïd quickly made an impression in Belgium. In 38 appearances across all competitions, he netted 8 goals and provided 5 assists, confirming his profile as an explosive winger capable of making a difference in one-on-one situations.

His performances attracted interest from several clubs before ultimately convincing Wolverhampton to bet on him to bolster their attacking options.

Head coach Cesar Peixoto expressed his delight at the signing, highlighting the Comorian player’s pace, power, and technical abilities.
