England: Tyrique George makes permanent move to Everton
Tyrique George will continue his career at Everton. The Toffees have reached an agreement with Chelsea for the permanent transfer of the young 20-year-old English winger, in a deal estimated at £25 million including bonuses.
Tyrique George joins the Toffees. Everton and Chelsea have agreed on a fixed fee of £18 million, with an additional £6 million in bonuses, bringing the total package up to £25 million (around €29 million). The Blues have also negotiated a 15% sell-on clause for any future transfer.
The player now needs to complete his medical before signing a long-term contract with the Toffees.
A true product of the Blues' academy
Having joined Chelsea's academy in 2014 at just eight years old, Tyrique George worked his way up through every stage of the London club's youth system before making 37 first-team appearances and netting 6 goals.
At 20 years old, the winger is eligible to represent England, Nigeria, or Ghana at international level. This transfer marks a new chapter in his young career, as he aims to make a lasting impact in Everton colours.
