FC Barcelona: "Rodri is the best No.6 in the world," says Hansi Flick

The best player of the 2026 World Cup has landed at FC Barcelona for €76.5 million. This move delights Blaugrana coach Hansi Flick, who considers the former Manchester City midfielder the best in the world at his position.

"It was an incredible opportunity for us to sign him, so we were all 100% convinced because we’re talking about a fantastic player. He brings that extra something to every team, and for me, it’s brilliant to have him with us. I think he might be the best No.6 in the world: he knows how to control the game, but he also brings so much defensively, he can win aerial duels—which is very important for us—and of course, he allows every player to raise their level," explained the German manager in comments reported by Mundo Deportivo.
