FIFA: Javier Tebas takes another swipe at Gianni Infantino

Javier Tebas, president of the Spanish league, has no intention of giving Gianni Infantino any respite. He is continuing his attack on the FIFA president.

Speaking to Cadena SER during the World Football Summit, LaLiga president Javier Tebas said that Spain should reconsider its position on hosting the 2030 World Cup if the Swiss official remains at the helm of FIFA. This would mean directly addressing the battle with Morocco to host the competition's final.

"Infantino is not credible. (...) If he stays, the chances of Spain hosting the final are minimal, if not nonexistent," Javier Tebas said. For its part, the Spanish Football Federation still intends to defend the country's bid to host the final.
