The friendly between Egypt and Saudi Arabia is under threat due to the recent strikes in Iran.

The Pharaohs are set for a training camp ahead of the 2026 World Cup in Doha, Qatar, at the end of March. There, they'll take on Saudi Arabia on March 26, followed by Spain on March 30.

However, the staging of these two matches is in doubt due to the escalating situation in the Middle East, particularly in Doha, which has been targeted by Iranian strikes on American military bases in the region.

According to Saudi media, the possibility of moving the Egypt – Saudi Arabia match to Cairo is under discussion. A final decision will be made in due course.

A third friendly is scheduled against Brazil in June as further preparation for the 2026 World Cup. At the global showpiece, the Pharaohs will compete in Group G alongside Belgium, New Zealand, and Iran.
