FIFA: Norway calls for Gianni Infantino's resignation
Gianni Infantino loses yet another supporter. The Norwegian federation distances itself.
FIFA president Gianni Infantino has come under heavy criticism since his plan to create a commercial company to sell shares of the World Cup. Although the project has since been scrapped and criticism continues to mount, Infantino recently received support from the Argentine Federation, the Mexican Federation, and even the Confederation of African Football (CAF).

However, the FIFA president can no longer count on the Norwegian Federation. The president of the body, Lise Klaveness, announced this Friday that she would ask the leader to "resign immediately".
"He does not have the institutional confidence required to lead FIFA in a stable manner during the period we are currently experiencing. There is no turning back for Gianni Infantino," she declared at a press conference.
