France team: Alain Giresse assesses Zinédine Zidane's start
One draw and three victories: Zinédine Zidane has made an impressive start on the France bench. Alain Giresse is also savoring it.
During his first international break in charge of the France team, head coach Zinédine Zidane recorded good results. The former Real Madrid player secured three victories and one draw in the Nations League. Speaking to L'Equipe on Tuesday, Alain Giresse assessed the new Les Bleus boss's first steps.
"After such matches, when you're a coach, you always have a feeling of serenity and well-being. It's something delightful, something to savor. I think that's what he is feeling. He must be happy to have drawn positive lessons from these first matches. After that, you have to be careful to ensure it continues. You mustn't let up. This is only a start. But it has been a successful start," declared the former attacking midfielder.
