French national team: adidas pays a heartfelt tribute to Zinédine Zidane

The manager of the French national team, Zinédine Zidane, officially became the new head coach of Les Bleus just a few days ago. This Thursday, adidas paid tribute to their loyal Zizou.

More than a week after Zidane's appointment as manager of France, the French tactician received a tribute worthy of his extraordinary career. In Marseille, his hometown, adidas unveiled a monumental display atop the Mirabeau Tower in the northern districts, featuring a message as understated as it is symbolic: "Comme au premier jour." ("Just like the very first day.")

This gesture highlights the enduring bond between the Three Stripes brand and Zinédine Zidane since the start of his career. The campaign is far from trivial—it directly echoes the iconic giant billboard installed in 1998 on the Corniche Kennedy, just months after France's World Cup triumph.
