French national team: Deschamps sends a powerful message to Kylian Mbappé

In recent days, Kylian Mbappé has once again stirred debate.

In the face of criticism, France’s head coach Didier Deschamps continues to offer unwavering support to the French national team captain.

"I've always believed, and I repeat it today, that the French national team will always be stronger with him. But that hasn’t always been the case. Unfortunately for him, during Euro 2021, he arrived after a very tough six months at PSG, and he didn’t get regular playing time. This time, we only had ten days to prepare for the two friendlies—so there really wasn’t any proper preparation. Then, his injury prevented him from giving his best," Deschamps told Marca.
