This Wednesday evening, Arsenal's Gunners faced Betis Sevilla in their second pre-season match ahead of the 2026-2027 campaign. Mikel Arteta's squad suffered defeat against Betis, just as Luis Enrique's PSG did against Mallorca.

Arsenal continued their summer preparations tonight with a second friendly match, coming just days after the English club kicked off their pre-season in style with a commanding 4-1 win over Girona. But this time, the reigning Premier League champions and recent Champions League runners-up were caught off guard by Betis Sevilla, who clinched a 3-1 victory.

During the match, the Gunners did manage to find the back of the net through Piero Hincapié, but the Andalusians made the difference thanks to goals from Pablo Fornals, Nelson Deossa, and Rodrigo Riquelme. This defeat carries little consequence for Mikel Arteta's men, who are still ramping up before the official season gets underway.
