In their first friendly match during this international break, Brazil were held to a 1-1 draw by Australia this Friday at Queensland Country Bank Stadium. Another disappointment for Carlo Ancelotti after the elimination suffered against Norway in the round of 32 of the 2026 World Cup.

Against Australia this Friday in Townsville, the Seleção snatched a draw in stoppage time thanks to a goal from Bournemouth striker Rayan. He came on with 15 minutes remaining. The goal will not change the disappointing new face shown by the Brazilians.
