From elimination to triumph: 24 incredible hours for a Malian international!

In just 24 hours, Malian international Nènè Dorgeles experienced one of the most extraordinary episodes of his professional career, going from the heartbreak of continental elimination to the joy of winning a trophy with his club.

Competing with the Mali national team in the Africa Cup of Nations quarterfinal against Senegal, the Malian striker saw his team bow out of the tournament after a fiercely contested match, ending the run for the Eagles of Mali.

As soon as the final whistle blew, Dorgeles immediately left Morocco for Turkey, determined to join his club Fenerbahçe ahead of the Turkish Super Cup final.

Despite the fatigue from travel and the back-to-back matches, the player came off the bench, clocking 22 minutes in the final as Fenerbahçe defeated their archrival Galatasaray (2-0). His appearance was more than enough to help secure his team’s victory and clinch the first trophy of his professional career.

This triumph allowed Nènè Dorgeles to quickly put the painful CAN exit behind him, showcasing his professionalism and ability to deliver at the highest level.

Meanwhile, the "Yellow Canary" club increased its trophy haul to four Turkish Super Cup titles, lifting this particular trophy for the first time since 2014.
