Galatasaray categorically denies Jamal Musiala rumor

The Turkish champions denounce deliberately misleading reports and urge fans to rely solely on their official communications.

Galatasaray has issued a statement to put a definitive end to the rumors surrounding Jamal Musiala. The Istanbul club has denied any agreement with the player or Bayern Munich, labeling these reports as “false.” Club officials believe these rumors are intended to harm their image and undermine their transfer market efforts.

A completely unrealistic move

Bayern Munich has absolutely no intention of letting go of their attacking midfielder. Under contract until 2030, Musiala remains one of the key figures in the Bavarian project and is set to continue his career in the Bundesliga.

Galatasaray asserts that the sources behind this rumor had already spread false information last season. The Turkish champions emphasize that their transfer business is conducted with “the utmost rigor and confidentiality.” Supporters are therefore encouraged to await official club announcements, as these speculations should have no influence on their summer strategy.

Before suffering his serious injury in July 2025, Jamal Musiala was valued at €140 million by Transfermarkt. His fractured fibula and dislocated ankle kept him sidelined for almost six months. Following that lengthy absence and an inconsistent return to action, his market value fell to €100 million. The Germany international has therefore lost €40 million in valuation, representing a decline of approximately 29%.
