Gabriel Martinelli has been a key target for Galatasaray for some time
Regardless of all the deals Galatasaray wanted to complete this season, Gabriel Martinelli was the player who had the greatest priority for the Turkish giant, as was clear, although Rafael Leao was also among Galatasaray's interests.
Okan Buruk believes the 25-year-old Brazilian winger could provide a significant boost to the team's attack. Galatasaray's improved offer has reached €45 million for Martinelli, which could be a good figure if Arsenal agrees to the deal.
Arsenal do not want Gabriel Martinelli to leave for one main reason
Arsenal failed to sign Vinicius Junior and bring him to the Emirates Stadium, so it will be difficult for them to accept any offer for Gabriel Martinelli because they have not brought in any replacement for the Brazilian player.
Although Martinelli has attracted attention from several European clubs in recent weeks, Galatasaray have moved to the front of the queue by submitting a formal, concrete proposal. Arsenal are currently assessing the offer, and dialogue between the two sides is anticipated to pick up pace shortly. Ultimately, the decision may well depend on whether Arsenal manage to bring in a high-calibre alternative prior to the deadline.
