Galatasaray ready to part ways with Mario Lemina?

Mario Lemina's future at Galatasaray could take an unexpected turn. Despite a recent contract extension, the Gabonese midfielder now appears likely to depart the Turkish club.

Situation reassessed internally

According to reports from the Turkish press, Mario Lemina's performances have fallen short of expectations since the start of the season. Galatasaray’s management and technical staff are set to reconsider the situation of the 32-year-old, who is currently contracted until June 30, 2028.

Since the start of the Süper Lig season, Lemina has played 85 minutes without scoring or providing an assist.

A Saudi offer on the table

The Gabonese international’s departure could materialize if a satisfactory proposal lands on Galatasaray's desk. An offer from Saudi Arabia is reportedly under consideration.
