Germany: Julian Nagelsmann urged to resign
A few days after the Mannschaft's failure, knocked out by Paraguay (1-1, 3-4 on penalties) in the round of 32 at this 2026 World Cup, the German Football Association no longer wants Julian Nagelsmann.
According to Sky Germany, the federation has invited the former Bayern Munich coach, whose contract runs until June 2028, to resign. This came after hearing the German manager's explanations for the national team's disastrous performance in the tournament.
The DFB has advised him to take responsibility by stepping down from his post. Should Nagelsmann refuse, Germany's management is expected to dismiss him.
