Idrissa Gueye is close to a new experience in the Saudi Professional League!

Idrissa Gueye is on his way to Saudi Arabia. The Senegalese midfielder, who became a free agent on 1 July after his Everton deal expired, has reportedly struck an agreement with Al-Diriyah, per Foot Mercato. The 36-year-old is expected to put pen to paper on a one-year contract that includes an option for an additional season, with the move set to be wrapped up shortly.

If the transfer goes through, Gueye will bring a vast European pedigree to the Saudi Pro League, having spent multiple campaigns with Everton, Lille, Paris Saint-Germain, and Aston Villa.
