Manchester City: Real Madrid full of confidence over Rodri

Already open to signing Rodri since his outstanding 2026 World Cup as captain of Spain, Real Madrid is feeling very optimistic about this transfer.

According to information from The Athletic this Friday, Los Blancos are convinced they can reach an agreement with Manchester City. What's more, they're already close to getting the green light from the midfield maestro himself.

At this stage, no official talks have begun between the two clubs, but the Merengues dare to believe Rodri will join them this summer. The Sky Blues, meanwhile, are also eager to keep hold of the 2024 Ballon d'Or winner.
