Inter Milan make bid for Wilfried Singo in the transfer market

Inter Milan are eager to bring Wilfried Singo back to the Italian Serie A. The Italian club has placed the Ivorian defender at the top of their priority list and has submitted an offer to lure him back to Italy, three years after his departure from Torino.

According to Turkish media outlet SkorX, the Nerazzurri have tabled a €35 million bid to convince Galatasaray. The offer includes €30 million plus €5 million in add-ons. Inter’s management is highly impressed by the player’s versatility, as he can operate both as a centre-back and as a right-back.

Fierce European competition

Negotiations are still ongoing, but no agreement has yet been reached with Galatasaray. Inter aren’t the only club in the race—Atlético Madrid, Nottingham Forest, and Napoli have all expressed interest in the Ivorian international as well. The battle to sign him this summer is expected to be intense.

Strong season despite injury

With Galatasaray, Singo delivered a standout campaign, featuring in 27 matches, scoring twice, and providing two assists across all competitions. He also caught the eye with the Ivory Coast national team at the World Cup, where he set up the winning goal in the opening match against Ecuador (1-0). However, his tournament was cut short by injury in the clash against Germany, which the Ivorians lost 2-1.
