Frank Zambo Anguissa's exit from Napoli is looking increasingly likely as the summer transfer window approaches. After a season widely considered disappointing on a collective level, the Cameroonian midfielder may be set to close his Serie A chapter after five years, a spell marked by two Italian league titles.

According to Il Mattino, the Neapolitan club has set Anguissa's price tag at around €20 million. Internally, this is seen as a fair valuation, with the club making it clear that the Cameroon international is not being pushed out, thanks to his key role in Napoli's recent successes.

On the transfer market, interest is coming mainly from Turkey. Both Beşiktaş and Galatasaray are closely monitoring Anguissa’s situation. Istanbul giants Beşiktaş, however, appear to have the upper hand, having made more concrete moves in the negotiations, while Galatasaray remain cautious due to the overall cost of the deal and questions regarding the player's current form.

At 30, Anguissa still boasts an attractive profile, thanks to his physical presence, work rate, and top-level experience. However, inconsistent performances this season and some fitness concerns have cooled the interest of several potential suitors.

For Napoli, the intention is not to offload a player still valued for his past influence, but rather to usher in a new era for the squad. The situation remains open, but the likelihood of a parting of ways between club and player is growing by the day.
