JS Kabylie: Karim Belhocine officially appointed new head coach

JS Kabylie has made it official: Karim Belhocine, the French-Algerian coach with stints at several Belgian clubs, will take charge of the club's technical staff.

JS Kabylie has ended the speculation by confirming the arrival of Karim Belhocine to its dugout. The 48-year-old French-Algerian tactician succeeds Josef Zinnbauer, who was dismissed last March, and now becomes the new leading figure at the Kabyle club.

A career forged in Belgium

A former defender trained in France before spells in Portugal and Belgium, Belhocine transitioned to coaching at KV Kortrijk, earning his pro license in 2017. He then became an assistant at Anderlecht before taking the reins in 2019, and later joined Sporting Charleroi, where he led the side to an impressive third-place finish and immediate European qualification in his debut season. After a brief return to Kortrijk, he managed Francs Borains, and most recently served as assistant at Watford in England, before taking on this new Algerian challenge.
