It's now official. Jürgen Klopp will take charge of the German national team. The former Liverpool manager has given his agreement to the DFB and will succeed Julian Nagelsmann, although a few details still need to be finalized with the Red Bull group.

Jürgen Klopp has agreed to become the new head coach of Germany. Discussions are ongoing regarding the terms of his long-term contract and the conditions of his departure from the Red Bull group, where he currently holds a strategic position.

The president of the German Football Association (DFB), Bernd Neuendorf, has already started negotiations with Red Bull. A meeting is also scheduled in New York next week between a DFB delegation, Klopp, his agent Marc Kosicke, and possibly representatives from Red Bull.

An agreement with Red Bull still to be found

While Klopp's desire to lead Die Mannschaft is no longer in doubt, both parties still need to agree on the terms of his departure. Red Bull shareholders are reportedly demanding compensation to release the German coach from his commitments.

Once these final details are settled, Jürgen Klopp will officially take the reins of the German national team, with the mission of revitalizing Die Mannschaft and leading them back to the pinnacle of international football.
