Juventus close to major signing with Alexander Sørloth

Juventus have taken a significant step forward in their pursuit of Alexander Sørloth. According to multiple sources, the Italian club has reached an agreement on personal terms with the Norwegian striker, while talks are ongoing with Atlético Madrid to try and finalize the transfer.

As reported by Matteo Moretto and others, Alexander Sørloth has given the green light to the conditions put forward by Juventus. The Turin side must now come to terms with Atlético Madrid regarding the transfer fee, which is estimated to be around 30 million euros.

Negotiations between the two clubs are still underway, with several points yet to be resolved. At the same time, other players could be discussed as part of the talks, including Nico González.

Sørloth, Juventus’ top attacking target

At 30 years old, Alexander Sørloth has established himself as one of Juventus’ top priorities to strengthen their attacking options this summer. The Norwegian striker is coming off a strong season in Spain, netting around 20 goals across all competitions and confirming his consistency at the highest level.

His physical presence and clinical finishing have caught the eye of Juventus’ sporting directors, who are looking to add more power and efficiency to their front line.

Deal still open

While the agreement with the player marks a major breakthrough, the transfer is far from finalized. Atlético Madrid remain firm in their financial demands, and negotiations could continue for several more days, or even weeks.

Nevertheless, Juventus appear to be in a strong position, with Sørloth already indicating his willingness to make the move to Serie A.
