Karim Benzema offered to Trabzonspor
Trabzonspor could be making another massive move in the transfer market. As the Turkish club negotiates with Al-Hilal for Darwin Núñez, Karim Benzema has reportedly also been put on the table during talks.
Al-Hilal ready to move on
Karim Benzema, now 38, joined Al-Hilal last February after his spell with Al-Ittihad. The former Real Madrid striker signed a contract until June 2027. Since his arrival, the Frenchman has posted impressive numbers, netting 10 goals and providing 5 assists in 14 matches across all competitions.

Despite these contributions, his future in Saudi Arabia now appears uncertain. According to journalist Sacha Tavolieri, Al-Hilal is looking to end their relationship with the 2022 Ballon d'Or winner ahead of schedule.
Trabzonspor weighing their options
According to Turkish journalist Yağız Sabuncuoğlu, Trabzonspor is currently in talks with Al-Hilal regarding Darwin Núñez. The Saudi club has reportedly used these negotiations as an opportunity to also offer Benzema. The discussions now involve both strikers.
For Trabzonspor, landing Benzema would be a truly audacious move, but the arrival of a player with his pedigree could spark a huge media and sporting impact. The Turkish side has already pulled off a sensational coup this summer, with the announced signing of Mohamed Salah as a free agent.
