Levante: Etta Eyong resumes individual training after injury
Out of action since the end of August, Karl Etta Eyong is continuing his recovery with Levante UD. The Cameroon international resumed individual training during the international break, marking another step in his return-to-competition process.
The international break is allowing Levante to work with its injured players, including Etta Eyong and Hugo Sotelo. The medical and coaching staff are supporting their progress in order to prepare their returns in the best possible conditions.
For the Cameroonian striker, work is resuming gradually. Etta Eyong must first regain his feel for the game and increase his workload before he can return to group training with his teammates.
His return could provide Levante with an additional option in attack. The Cameroonian had particularly stood out for his power and presence in the final third since joining the Valencian club.
The match against Sevilla in sight
Levante are already preparing for the return of the league with the visit of Sevilla FC, scheduled for Monday, October 12. This period should allow the staff to assess the physical condition of the players currently in the recovery phase.
For Etta Eyong, there appears to be no need to rush. The striker must continue his rehabilitation work gradually before considering a return to group training. Any potential inclusion in the squad against Sevilla will therefore depend on his progress over the coming days.
Resuming individual training already represents another step in the Cameroonianâs return, having been sidelined for several weeks.
