It's now official: the young Cameroonian striker Etienne Eto'o will be joining Rayo Vallecano's first team starting next season.

This is a well-deserved reward for the son of Samuel Eto'o, the legendary former star of the Indomitable Lions, who helped the reserve team secure promotion to the Second Division.

At just 22 years old, the Mallorca native now has a fantastic opportunity to relaunch his career, after gaining valuable experience during his development in both Spain and Portugal.

Etienne Eto'o's impressive season with Rayo Vallecano reserves

The former Guimaraes player netted 30 goals for the Madrid club's B team during the 2024-2025 season.

Additionally, he scored once with the senior side, finding the net against CD Villamuriel in the first round of the Copa del Rey. His market value is estimated at 200,000 euros according to the website “transfermarket”.
