It's now official! Andoni Iraola is the new head coach of Liverpool.

On the club's official website, the new Reds boss shared his first words.

"I'm really, really excited. Because, obviously, everyone knows Liverpool, you know it's a massive club, one of the greatest in the world. But feeling the atmosphere and understanding this club a bit better, I've always thought it was a special place. It doesn't take much to be drawn to Liverpool. Liverpool is Liverpool. But of course, the atmosphere, the supporters, the club, the players, the chance to coach top-level players, the opportunity to compete for trophies... I think there's nothing more appealing than that. It's rare. So, I can't wait to get started," he said.
