Liverpool: Victor Osimhen suffers arm injury, possible ulna fracture feared

On Wednesday, during the Champions League return leg at Anfield, Victor Osimhen was forced to leave the pitch due to intense pain in his right arm. Galatasaray suffered a heavy defeat to the Reds (4-0), and the injury to their star striker only adds to the Turkish club’s woes.

According to Dr. Mustafa Şenyurt, orthopedist:

"The ulna bone lies just beneath the skin, making it vulnerable to direct trauma. Severe pain and the inability to continue playing suggest a possible ulna fracture."

Yağız Sabuncuoğlu adds, "Victor Osimhen is reluctant to fully acknowledge his injury and wanted to stay on the pitch. His determination forced Galatasaray to play with 10 men against 11 during the first half."

The match was also marked by an injury to Noa Lang, who hurt his arm in a clash with Osimhen. Both players are now being treated by Galatasaray's medical staff to assess the severity of their injuries and the likely recovery time.

A major blow for Galatasaray, who were already struggling after a heavy defeat at Anfield, and who may now have to do without their striker for upcoming European fixtures.
