French international Bradley Barcola, who currently plays for Liverpool, has noticed a clear difference between the Premier League and Ligue 1.

Yesterday, Liverpool's Reds endured a difficult afternoon at Anfield. Against Manchester City, the Reds suffered a heavy 3-0 defeat in the Premier League. In a match dominated by the Citizens, the Reds were unable to compete and conceded three goals at home.

After the defeat, Bradley Barcola was interviewed by Sky Sports. He discussed the differences between the English league and Ligue 1, which he knows well.

The Premier League is highly physical

Bradley Barcola also stressed the physical demands of the Premier League, which he considers even greater than those in the French league. “Ligue 1 is very physical. But here, I would say it’s even more physical in terms of the running. The matches are played from one end of the pitch to the other,” he said.

The French forward also highlighted the constant intensity of English matches, while stating that this difficulty was one of the reasons behind his decision. “The intensity is so high. But that’s also why I came here. It’s a new challenge for me to take on,” he added.
