Liverpool: Yan Diomandé gets Jamie Carragher's endorsement

Targeted by both Liverpool’s Reds and PSG, Yan Diomandé is shaping up to be one of the major stories of this summer transfer window.

According to Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher, the Ivorian international is an intriguing prospect to strengthen the English club. "I thought he was fantastic in the first World Cup match. A little less impressive in the second, but he’s still extremely dangerous. You’re buying into his potential. He’s still only 19, just a young man. When you look at him physically, you can see he’s got all the right attributes," said the Sky Sports pundit.

For the record, RBL are reportedly holding out for more than €120 million before considering Diomandé's departure.
