Elye Wahi stirred up the final hours of Ivory Coast’s training camp before the high-stakes showdown with Germany. But now, some good news has emerged.

Elye Wahi had been prevented in recent hours from joining his teammates in Canada. Faced with mounting questions, the Ivorian Football Federation broke its silence to explain that all necessary steps had been taken to resolve the issue.

Canada, in fact, was refusing to grant the Ivorian striker a visa. However, according to RMC Sport, Elye Wahi has finally received authorization to enter Canadian territory. Canadian authorities approved his file after receiving a document from the Marseille prosecutor’s office.

The document clearly states that “Wahi has not been indicted and is not subject to any prosecution” in connection with the Nice-Metz case. This is excellent news for the Ivorian striker.
