Manchester City: Antoine Semenyo fired up for Enzo Maresca
Having taken over the Manchester City dugout this summer as Pep Guardiola’s successor, Enzo Maresca already appears to have won over Ghanaian international Antoine Semenyo.
Since joining Manchester City last winter, Antoine Semenyo has racked up 27 appearances and 11 goals in all competitions for the Sky Blues in the 2025-2026 season. As preseason gets underway, the Ghanaian winger has praised the instructions given by his new manager Enzo Maresca—guidance that is giving him more freedom in one-on-one situations down his flank.

"From day one, he shared his ideas with us. I had individual meetings with him about how he wants us to play. His ideas are excellent, quite similar to Pep’s. Enzo especially wants the wingers to stay very wide and create chances when they get the ball. It’s exciting," the former Bournemouth player told The Athletic.
