Just over an hour before kickoff, Manchester City and Bournemouth have revealed their starting XIs for the opening day of the league.

Manchester City host Bournemouth this Sunday at 2pm Algerian time, at the Etihad Stadium. This first matchday of the Premier League also marks the managerial debuts of Enzo Maresca and Marco Rose in the league.

The official lineups for Manchester City – Bournemouth

Manchester City official lineup: Donnarumma – Khusanov, Rúben Dias, Gvardiol, Aït-Nouri – Kovacic, Elliot Anderson – Semenyo, Foden, Nico O’Reilly – Haaland.

Erling Haaland is making his 200th appearance for Manchester City across all competitions. Before this match, the Norwegian had scored 162 goals in 199 games, including 112 in the Premier League.

Bournemouth official lineup: Petrović – Adam Smith, James Hill, António Silva, Truffert – Lewis Cook, Alex Scott – Rayan, Kluivert, Tavernier – Evanilson.

Last season, City claimed a 3-1 win at the Etihad, with Haaland bagging a brace. In the return fixture, Bournemouth managed to snatch a 1-1 draw, a result that officially handed the title to Arsenal. Manchester City finished second with 78 points, while the Cherries secured a remarkable sixth place with 57 points, qualifying for Europe for the first time in their history.
