Manchester City reaches agreement in principle with Ayyoub Bouaddi

Manchester City has reached an agreement in principle with young Moroccan international Ayyoub Bouaddi (18) over personal terms for a contract running through June 2031.

Bouaddi says yes to Manchester City until 2031

According to Italian journalist Nicolò Schira, the Citizens' management have opened talks with LOSC Lille to finalize the transfer during the summer window.

The same source indicates that the English club is eager to wrap up the deal quickly to stay ahead of two other European giants also keen on the Moroccan midfielder.

On his (X) account, Nicolò Schira wrote:

"Excl. - Agreement in principle for a contract until 2031 between Ayyoub #Bouaddi and #ManchesterCity, who are now in talks to try to sign him from Lille.
MCFC is pushing to move ahead of two other top European clubs interested in the Moroccan player."

Regarded as one of the brightest prospects in Moroccan football, Ayyoub Bouaddi is among Manchester City's top targets to strengthen their midfield as part of new manager Enzo Maresca's project for the 2026-2027 season.
