Manchester City: Thierry Henry denies fake news

Reactions have been mounting since the accusations against Manchester City. Thierry Henry has also reacted to deny a fake news story.

Found guilty of 114 of the 115 financial fair play breaches in the Premier League, Manchester City are awaiting news of their punishment. In England, statements attributed to Thierry Henry have circulated on the subject in recent days. They were comments in which the former France striker called for very severe sanctions against the Cityzens.

However, Thierry Henry fell victim to fabricated comments. In a story posted on his Instagram account, the former Gunner said that he had never made such statements. “Fake news. I have not spoken to anyone about Manchester City. Stop making up stories,” he wrote.
