The Marcus Rashford saga has taken a new twist. Eager to keep hold of the England international, FC Barcelona has run into a firm refusal from Manchester United, who are not willing to lower their demands at this stage.
The future of Marcus Rashford remains highly uncertain. Despite spending last season in the colors of FC Barcelona, the English striker still doesn't know where he'll be playing after the 2026 World Cup, with talks between the parties seemingly at a standstill.

According to the Daily Mail, the Catalan club would like to keep the England international, but not at any cost. The Blaugrana board reportedly submitted an initial offer estimated at €15 million—half the €30 million buy option agreed upon in the loan deal. Manchester United immediately rejected this proposal, unwilling to let their player go for less than his value.
This makes the situation complicated for Barça. Still according to the Daily Mail, Rashford wants to continue his adventure in Catalonia, but his future at the club is becoming increasingly uncertain. The Red Devils are now considering reintegrating him into their summer preparations, while Barça’s attacking options have grown stronger, further limiting room for maneuver in this saga.
