Martin Zubimendi: Arsenal turns down José Mourinho’s Real Madrid
As the summer transfer window draws to a close, Real Madrid hasn’t forgotten about Martin Zubimendi.
Despite Real Madrid’s interest in Martin Zubimendi, Arsenal has absolutely no intention of parting ways with the Spanish midfielder this summer. According to reports from The Sun, the Madrid giants are still monitoring the 27-year-old, whom they tried to sign last year before his move from Real Sociedad to Arsenal for around €60 million.

At the Gunners, Mikel Arteta still counts on Martin Zubimendi and wants to keep him to defend the Premier League title. However, competition in midfield will be particularly fierce following the arrival of Bruno Guimarães, signed for €85 million, alongside established names like Declan Rice and Martin Ødegaard.
But this situation does nothing to change Arsenal’s stance. For the club, Zubimendi will only leave if an exceptional offer arrives—one significant enough to make the London management reconsider.
